SummerCare

SummerCare makes a positive difference to the quality of life of people by supporting every individual to fulfill their true potential. SummerCare has won the Great British Care award for Innovation in Home Care for the East of England. SummerCare has been recognised for its work at being at the forefront of delivering services which support the government’s policy on individualisation and personalisation. Personalisation enables each person to choose where they live and the care and support they need. Summercare works with, social services, families, advocates and the service users to identify their accommodation, care and support needs and will then identify and, if necessary adapt, suitable accommodation for them. They will then put in place agreed appropriate care and support. It was for this work that SummerCare won the Great British Care Award for the East of England. Celebrating the award Managing Director of Summercare Dr Asif Raja said “I am delighted that the efforts that SummerCare makes have been recognised by winning this award and I would like to thank all the team for their hard work, dedication and commitment to putting the needs of service users at the heart of all we do”
