Summum Engineering

Summum Engineering is a design, engineering and optimization company based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It operates in the domains of architecture, engineering and construction as well as industrial design and art. Summum specializes in the parametric modelling, finite element modelling, natural building materials and structural engineering of lightweight structures, complex geometries and sustainable buildings as well as programming and scripting custom algorithms and tools. Summum Engineering Cooperative U.A. (Summum Ingenieurs Coöperatie) is a worker-owned cooperative and social enterprise. It was originally founded in 2017 on the belief that, through exchange and progress in science and technology, the built environment can serve people, their well-being as well as our planet. The company is pro-active in seeking a clientele and building a portfolio in support of this vision.
