Since 1976 we have created renewable energy solutions in the state of California that help preserve the planet’s vital resources and hedge against the rising cost of energy. We have cultivated the depth of knowledge and professional talent to serve a broad range of commercial and nonprofit clients, encompassing new construction and retrofit projects for office and industrial sites, over 250 multifamily housing developments, food service businesses, schools, places of worship, non-profit organizations, utilities, government buildings, hotels, and more. Being a Certified B Corp, we are held accountable for using business to tackle social and environmental problems while providing a healthy and sustainable workplace for our employees. In fact, we are one of the first companies to become a Certified B Corporation. We are licensed (#326203) and NABCEP certified. We are also a group of passionate people with diverse interests. We are volunteers and activists. We care about the impact we have on the natural environment. We compost, reduce and recycle. We make carbon-reducing diet and shopping decisions. We bike to work and use public transportation whenever possible. When we need to drive, we are bio-fuel enthusiasts and electric car drivers. We are animal lovers, rock climbers, snowboarders, bike campers and skiers. We fly planes, hike mountains, run triathlons, teach yoga, swim the Bay, track wildlife and travel the world.
