Philosophy: Let us share the good things in life. Spread the light! Sunbeams believes in equality of education and equality of opportunity. Children residing in under-developed areas of our country have an equal right to a quality education – a right often denied to them. Children residing in urban centers are also routinely denied this right, due to the rising cost of education in today’s world. Thus, a child might be living in remote Balochistan or the centre of Lahore, yet still be deprived of an education due to multiple constraints. It is our duty and privilege to share the good things we have been blessed with, especially education, which is the one thing that truly empowers people to change their lives. Only when there is social equality through education, will we be able to lift our people out of the quagmire of poverty, neglect and ignorance, and achieve a Pakistan that is prosperous for all. What we do: Sunbeams establishes schools for disadvantaged children in remote rural and peri-urban areas of the country The schools deliver a high-quality education at an affordable price. Through its innovative sliding fee structure, Sunbeams is able to make the schools financially sustainable within a period of 2-3 years.
