Sunflowers Speak

Sunflowers Speaks is an ABNI-registered non-profit created by likeminded volunteers that help Ukrainian refugees living in the Netherlands learn English. We strive to create a supportive community and constantly search for new, creative, and fun ways of learning that will support our students in integrating English into their daily lives. OUR MISSION: To establish a strong, supportive English-speaking community for Ukrainian refugees in The Netherlands in order to help them with the integration process and successfully overcome language barriers. OUR ACTIVITIES: We organize English and Dutch language lessons, both online and in-person, for Ukrainian refugees. We also organize speaking clubs, cultural field trips, and other educational activities in that focus on the active use of English and/or Dutch. We are working towards establishing a platform for the benefit of the integration of refugees in the Netherlands in all areas of Dutch society.
