Sunrise Treatment and Recovery Centre

Sunrise Centre is an addiction treatment center located in Alpena, Michigan serving individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders from 42 Michigan counties. Operating since 1971, Sunrise Centre is a 41 bed residential treatment facility serving individuals with substance use and co-occurring conditions. Sunrise Centre offers an array of treatment services include detoxification, inpatient treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, case management, peer support, and more. Our treatment team members are trained in a range of modalities to ensure treatment provided is individualized and person-centered and can meet the complex needs of the population served. Sunrise Centre has providers trained in EMDR, CBT, a range of evidence based group curriculums, and all are certified as addiction specialists through MCBAP. Our Sunrise Centre team takes pride in the care we provide, our efforts to continue to learn and grow and collaborate with community partners to improve the wellbeing of our rural communities and community members, and the work we do to develop recovery supportive communities.
