Sunrise Recreation and Park District covers approximately 27 square miles and serves three distinct communities: the City of Citrus Heights, Antelope, and Foothill Farms. While the residents of these communities share many similar recreation needs, each community also has its own unique character and recreation priorities. Management and design of the District parks and programs must be responsive to these particular community needs, and still provide for consistent quality and access to recreation resources throughout the District.
