About Sunrise Enterprises Inc.

Sunrise Enterprises Inc. was founded in 1969 as a way to enrich the lives of those with disabilities in Douglas County. Every Sunrise entity was create to serve as a training ground to provide a safe, inclusive place to learn job skills in a field of each person's interest. Since not every individual's idea of an enriched life looks the same, we also offer a Day Support & Activities (DSA) program that caters to those who do not wish to work, or are retired. Sunrise operates a wood mill, five thrift retail locations, Umpqua Liquidation, and offers commercial janitorial and landscape services in Douglas County. Our mission is to assist persons with disabilities to access meaningful employment opportunities and achieve self-fulfilling lives.
