Sunset Lighting Systems Ltd is a research and development company that specialises in producing totally waterproof LED lighting systems for challenging conditions, including their new Litebar®, which connects directly into “off-the-shelf” 25mm or 20mm electrical conduit.
After four years of constant experimentation, development and adaptation – both in the warm waters of Mediterranean Sea and in the sub-zero, snow-covered, mountains on Majorca – Sunset Lighting Systems believes it now has a unique, high quality, world-leading product that will meet the diverse needs of most architects and construction companies.
Its LED lighting systems – including its new Litebar® – have many uses, both above and below water. These include boats, swimming pools, tunnels, industrial units, building sites, outdoor inspection areas, gardens and mobile transport units.
Depending on what the customer requires, the lights themselves are either IP68 (underwater rating), or IP64 (outdoor weatherproof rating) and are guaranteed for three years.
As at April 2018, all LED lighting systems carry the CE standard mark – and have been on test for at least three years without incurring any problems whatsoever.
The lights have varying luminance outputs, to suit customer needs – and can be encased in either aluminium or Plastic/PVC extrusions. The lights themselves come in varying fixed colours, or in RGB – giving the user the option of changing colour remotely.
