Sunshield is engaged in the manufacture and sale of a wide range of specially formulated and customized products with applications across diverse sectors like Home & Personal Care, Industrial Formulations, Paints & Coatings, Agrochemicals, etc. The Company is a leading player in the surfactant and specialty functional chemicals business, has deep experience in handling critical processes like alkoxylation, antioxidants, and blending. The Company’s main product lines broadly belong to 3 categories: - Specialty Surfactant applications, predominantly Ethylene Oxide (EO) based products. The technologies developed involve Surfactants, Esters, Amides, and other complementary processes. Specialty Anti-Oxidants for Lubricants, Polymers, Rubber, Tyre & Latex and other Industries involving Aminic & Phenolic technologies and Other Non-EO technologies & customized blends for various applications. The company has a diverse customer base and long-standing relationships with several large global and Indian customers viz. Altana, Asian Paints, BASF, Lubrizol, Owens Corning etc. The Company has an ISO 9000:2015 certified facility strategically located in Western India. The ~17kT capacity plant is set up on 7.25 acres of freehold land that has easy access to the transportation network and is in close proximity to both its major customers as well as suppliers. The facility is in Rasal, Maharashtra, at a distance of ~60 km from Navi Mumbai and ~80 km from JNPT Port.
