The process involves designating the survey area on a map app and launching the pre-programmed, geofenced UAV, which captures the geotagged imagery. Aerial inspections have time stamps and geolocation data tagged to every image. The imagery is cloud processed into accurate photo-realistic 2D and 3D maps, and models. The data is available for a secure download to your computer. Sunshine Drones exports file types that can be used in 360, Revit, BIM360, Civil3D and Infraworks to visualize projects, make volume calculations, estimate cuts and fills, plan earthmoving, and check as-builts against as-planned. Sunshine Drones also delivers data in other file formats. By safely operating at much lower altitudes than manned aircraft and using high-resolution cameras, Sunshine Drones provides cost-effective and high-quality aerial imaging – up to 1.5 centimeters per pixel resolution.
