Additionally, the moisture can be attracted and released many times compounding the chances for additional mold and moisture damage. Our Calcium chloride based products chemically change to a saline gel solution when exposed to moisture. The non-toxic chemical is wrapped in two mono-permeable (moisture in, not out) bags which can absorb nearly 400% of their weight in retained moisture. The bags are double-sealed and will not leak.
