In 2014, I (Rory Piper) created my alter ego Super-Rory to keep from my day-to-day ICT Support role separate to his volunteer role for The Sony Ignatian Children's Holiday Camp at Saint Ignatius' College, Riverview. The Sony Camp is a four day respite camp for children aged between 5 – 15 with special needs and disabilities which he was involved in as a Superhero as well as IT & Media Team Leader for student media team.
Since then, I (Super-Rory) have done six Sony Camps as well as assisted in fundraising through Sydney City2Surf and raised over $24,000 AUD for the Sony Foundation to support these camps.
In 2024, marking the ten years since Super-Rory was created, I have been aiming to find more special projects and causes to be involved in helping support.

Alvie App helps with combatting loneliness and social isolation by helping people with a disability match with like-minded individuals and build life-long connections.
BlowFly Cricket is a friendly accepting, non-judgmental, safe and caring all-ability, inclusive grassroots cricket club that caters for children, adolescents, and adults with special needs and/or intellectual and physical disabilities of all abilities, ages, genders, races, and cultures.
The Sony Foundation Children's Holiday Camp Program is a unique respite program that sees high school and university students take on the responsibility for the care of children with disability, allowing their families to have a valuable weekend off.
