Nous sommes un groupe de 6 étudiants de Polytech Orléans en 4 et 5 ème année menant un projet sur les surfaces super hydrophobes.
Ce type de paroi a tendance à repousser l'eau, lui conférant des applications très intéressantes comme par exemple pour de la vaisselle auto nettoyante, un pare brise, ou encore le transport naval.
Notre projet a pour but d'étudier le comportement des parois super hydrophobes à partir d'expériences et reproduire nos observations sur un logiciel de simulation. L'objectif est de déterminer un modèle informatique le plus fiable possible pour ces surfaces.
We are 6 students from Polytech Orléans (France) working on a super hydrophobic surfaces' project. This kind of surface's got extra perks than normal ones useful in lots of applications such as self cleaning dishes, windshields or naval transport.
Our project is to study on thanks to a bench test the behavior of super hydrophobic walls. We will reproduce these results on an informatic simulation. Our goal is to identify a CFD model for super hydrophobic surfaces as reliable as possible.
