Supertek is a leading company in the development and manufacturing of machinery and automation solutions for the industry, specializing in unwinding, winding, and rewinding wires and fibers. Founded in 2005 in Emden, Supertek developed the electromagnetic dancer, a wire tension control system patented by its founder, Gerd Janssen, during his electrical engineering studies. Supertek won the Lower Saxony Startup Award and introduced a fully electronic rewinding system with the electromagnetic dancer at the Wire trade fair in Düsseldorf in 2008. The innovation was enthusiastically received by the industry, generating significant interest at the fair. Through continuous development of highly precise machines, Supertek has established itself as a technological market leader for unwinding, winding, and rewinding systems for the finest wires and optical fibers. In 2012, the company moved into a new facility with over 1,000 m² of office space, modern manufacturing, and assembly halls.
