We want to raise awareness of an ultra-rare condition that affects less than 1 in a million people and is diagnosed in childhood
The condition is called Alternating Hemiplegia of childhood, AHC for short, and affects every single muscle in the body from arms and legs to bladder and breathing.
Research into the condition is paramount and may even bring about cures for other conditions like Epilepsy which 50% of the people with AHC have.
