From injury to independence
Founded in 2012, our UK charity has helped over 350 wounded veterans find purpose and employment through sport, pain management and mentoring.
Our approach supports the most vulnerable veterans, and through them we have learnt how pain and trauma affects their ability to lead an independent life.
We started by offering sports recovery through skiing, and by getting to know our community we identified that pain was the biggest barrier to them reaching their full potential.
This led us to commission innovative therapies within the NHS to reduce pain and get veterans' lives back on track.
Solving treatment-resistant PTSD is the next natural battle to fight.
