How they Work:
Surfaceskins are designed to provide users with a self-cleaning surface to help reduce the spread of germs in the vital seconds between one user and the next touching high traffic contact surfaces, such as door plates. Each time the door is pushed open using the Surfaceskins push pad the surface self-cleans by releasing a small quantity of alcohol gel via the micro-valved top sheet. This kills most of the common germs that may be harmful in the crucial few seconds after passing through the door, reducing the risk of cross infection between one door user and the next.
