SurfSeats started as a secondary ticket marketplace at the University of Michigan that gave students the ability to buy or sell their student tickets through our bid/ask system. Buyers could place bids on tickets and sellers could then fulfil those bids. Our innovative approach to selling tickets is superior to other secondary ticket markets because buyers can now negotiate prices and sellers can instantaneously sell their tickets by fulfilling a bid; after seeing it was a huge success at the University of Michigan, we are now looking to expand to all entertainment events.
