SIS members are provided with contractual indemnity for clinical negligence and public liability claims as well as 20 years run off cover following death or permanent retirement from practice. The SIS policy provides cover of up to 10 million for any one claim, including costs, in the annual aggregate in any policy year. Whether you take an excess on your policy is your decision. Cover includes GMC, disciplinary enquiries & inquests as well as public liability & HMRC investigations.
