What is SOLD?
Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development is Surrey County Council's Outdoor Learning service.
We have 3 outdoor centres - High Ashurst, near Dorking in Surrey, Thames Young Mariners, near Richmond in Surrey and Henley Fort near Guildford in Surrey. We also have a barge boat moored on the Wey River Navigations called 'Angel Blue' which is available for schools, families and small group bookings.

Defining the aim of your group's visit is very important to us here at Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development. You may have specific goals in mind for what you want to achieve with your pupils or we can help you define those goals.
They could be involvement, broadening horizons, development of certain skills, self-awareness, building confidence, helping coordination, improving fitness, better communication or developing leadership skills.
