SURRITO is bringing fast food that delivers on two seemingly opposing ends - exciting taste & healthy macronutrients. Fast food chains have been feeding us junk food for too long, leading to an explosion of obesity & diabetes. As of today, 53% (73%) of adults in Europe (US) are dealing with overweight, whilst 10% (14%) have to live with the burden of diabetes. One of the main reasons for that is the average consumer eating too many calories and too little protein leading to various health problems over time. Several recent studies have shown a higher-than-currently-recommended protein intake helps with weight loss, weight management, appetite control & reduces cardiometabolic risk factors. Adhering to that is difficult for most people because what's being offered by the market isn't in line with these findings. We will change this by offering more protein for less calories in a tasty & exciting way.
