The story of Rug Making & Export of Rugs was started in 1969 with the name of DAWN CARPET COMPANY by Shamsuddin Ansari together with his father Haji Jan Mohammad who was a local producer & seller of Rugs.
The foundation of S.U. RUGS was laid by Mohd Aasif & Haji Shamsuddin with motive of taking the Rug Manufacturing Business to new heights. It was established in year 2009 with the Tagline “HANDS TO FLOOR”. This beautiful legacy goes on to Mohd Akbar Asif who is the 4th Generation in this family business.
We are mainly producing Handmade Sustainable Rugs by using different types of materials like Jute/ Wool/ Recycled Plastic Bottle Yarn (PET)/ Cotton/ Chenille/ Nylon/ Viscose/ Tencel etc. in different types of weaving styles like Hand Woven/ Hand Knotted/ Hand Tufted/ Flat Woven/ Hand Loom Knotted etc,
All our Rugs are Eco- Friendly & GoodWeave Certified. We have been rated “A” by BSCI.
