Survivor Central

Sexual assault/domestic violence survivors deal with 2 glaring issues: difficulty in finding proper resources (like psychological counselling, family support, medical aid, legal aid, and financial aid), and challenges in finding a shelter to escape from an abusive partner. Survivor Central is a website platform that has 2 main functions: matching survivors with resources and matching survivors with shelters. For the resource matching component: survivors fill out an intuitive, confidential questionnaire stream (on a platform similar to TurboTax), and are matched with psychological counseling, as well as medical, legal, and financial resources that they qualify for. For the shelter matching platform: survivors fill out a quick screening questionnaire (completely confidential and de-identified), which then gets sent to their local shelters, who then provide immediate updates when there are spots open for survivors.
