Susan McQuaker Dramatherapist

I am a qualified Dramatherapist with an extensive background in both education and the creative arts. I have worked with children, adolescents and their families for over 25 years, supporting their mental health and well-being, in schools and other charitable organisations. My training in both the creative arts and in therapy has enabled me to provide a bespoke therapeutic service that is confidential, respectful, collaborative and non-judgemental. Dramatherapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses drama and theatre processes to achieve therapeutic goals. In Dramatherapy, participants are supported to use creative expression to explore their stories, set goals, solve problems, express feelings and achieve improved mental health and make positive changes in their lives. Sessions are held in Aberdeen/shire area. I work with schools, support groups, charities and residential homes to bring dramatherapy sessions to individuals and groups. I also offer staff training and consultation sessions.
