At Teknik Motorsport we specialise in Motorcycle Suspension.
A big part of our company is devoted to constant research and development, for both our customer's suspension settings, and our performance upgrade parts.
None of it is guesswork like some other suspension tuners; we have two state of the art suspension dynamometers which get used on any work we do in the workshop.
It takes time to learn how to use them properly and it takes time in every job, but it gives our customers accurate, repeatable results everytime. And Teknik is all about accuracy and results.
As far as our servicing is concerned, all this work gives us a huge bank of settings which we can compare to and modify from to get the exact results that each customer wants on their bike.
And it also means we can test a whole bunch of different conditions and different variables on a whole bunch of different suspensions from different motorcycles to see which parts we can change on a particular fork or shock to get a desired result. It gives us an edge in finding what exactly is the problem with a design in the first place and it gives us some clues on which parts will need changes. We then test on the dyno again to make sure that the modifications worked that way we wanted.
