Sustain cities (the parent organization of our Greenville chapter, Make GVL Greener) is a grassroots 501c3 organization focused on creating sustainable, green urban communities (we call them ecosystems) which address climate justice and social equality challenges. We do this through active citizen involvement, environmental and social education, government and private partnership and responsible, diverse business development.
We realize that the most effective solution to our climate and social challenges include community engagement and education which shapes spending decisions and helps encourage responsible business development. The most inclusive outcomes are from voluntary growth and not forced regulation. Letting the urban ecosystem thrive for future generations.
