GHG Insight is a solution set enabling organisations to comply with several emissions reporting initiatives. These includes the UK government’s Streamlined Energy & Carbon Reporting requirements, for both quoted and unquoted companies, ESOS and the CDP. Being cloud-based GHG Insight, has several benefits. First, the data from different sites is centralised, making analysis and reporting easier. Secondly, mobile users do not need to access an organisation’s internal network, which reduces the cyber-security risk. GHGi Analytics enables companies to record, analyse and report on their carbon emissions. It fulfils the requirements of the UK government’s Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting regulations in addition to the main elements of ESOS and the CDP (formally the Carbon Disclosure Project). GHGi Expenses is a Travel & Expenses system that automatically measures and reports associated greenhouse gas emission. Out-of-pocket expenses can be completed anytime, anywhere. Individual dashboards allow staff to keep track of their expense claims and respond to items that are declined or queried. Photographs of receipts can be attached to claims, removing the need to submit paper. GHGi Engine, also cloud based, allows an organisation’s existing Expenses system to collect and report on the emissions produced by business travel. No customer data is stored within GHGi Engine. It is simply processed, and the results returned for storage, analysis and reporting. GHG Insight uses several data sources to calculate emissions. These diverse sources of information are subject to regular, and sometimes unpredictable change. The data must be kept up to date, be it emissions factors for aircraft, light rail and taxis. We monitor this extensive range of data sources so that organisations do not have to. This ensures that emissions reporting for CO2e will always be accurate.
