The Sustainable Finance Club at IU provides students with the opportunity to explore the intersection between finance and sustainability in the professional world. Open to all majors and class years, the club provides hands-on experience and the opportunity to hear from professionals in the sustainable finance world regarding topics such as ESG (environmental, social, and governance) compliance, sustainable investing, sustainability reporting, corporate responsibility, ethical financial decision making, and more. Through research projects, speaker events, and collaborative discussion, members gain a deeper understanding of how financial tools can drive a positive impact in the world around us.
By connecting with industry leaders and examining real world sustainability challenges, students develop the skills necessary to lead in a rapidly evolving financial and environmental landscape. Whether pursuing careers in investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, nonprofit work, or any other financial career, members of the Sustainable Finance Club are equipped with the ability to make responsible, forward-thinking decisions that help shape a more sustainable global economy.
SFC is a registered Kelley Student Organization (KSO) and Self-Governed Student Organization (SGSO) at Indiana University.
