SustainTour is an Erasmus+ project that aims to bridge the gap between the tourism labor market and Vocational Education and Training (VET) offerings in the Western Balkans, specifically in Albania and Kosovo. The project introduces the new occupational role of the Sustainable Tourism Advisor, who will support tourism and hospitality SMEs in becoming more sustainable, socially responsible, and digitally advanced. Key Project Results: ✅ Development of a new occupational profile: Sustainable Tourism Advisor ✅ Design of a blended learning programme and educational package ✅ Creation of a Toolkit of Pedagogical Resources for advisors and trainers ✅ Launch of a digital learning environment and assessment tool ✅ Delivery of Training of Trainers and national pilot sessions in Albania and Kosovo ✅ Establishment of a Community of Practice to foster long-term collaboration and innovation 🤝 The SustainTour consortium is composed of 8 partners from 5 countries — Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Albania, and Kosovo — joining forces to boost sustainable tourism through innovation in VET: • BEE GROUP – Greece (Coordinator) • DIMITRA Education & Consulting – Greece • MMC Mediterranean Management Centre – Cyprus • Documenta – Instituto Europeo de Estudios para la Formación y el Desarrollo– Spain • Universiteti “Aleksandër Moisiu” Durrës (UAMD) – Albania • Albacademy – Albania • Universum International College – Kosovo • Chamber of Hospitality and Tourism of Kosovo – Kosovo 🌐 Want to keep up with our journey?
