Founded in 1926 in Sanjo Niigata.
In 2011 The Open Factory Concept was launched, in an honest attempt to show that our products are indeed made by hand using traditional tools. From that moment anyone who wishes to visit the factory can do so without an appointment, and observe the production uninterrupted by staff, to draw personal conclusions.
By 2020 Suwada's family counts more than 60 people.
