SV Industry EPFL

SV Industry is a student organization from the Life Sciences and Technologies School of EPFL. Since 2007 our members offer the possibility for students to discover the diversity in the professional landscape of life sciences. Without rejecting academic careers, we focus on those in the industry, ranging from R&D to consulting, including management, entrepreneurship, quality insurance as well as many others. Information can be transmitted via many ways and therefore we organize various events throughout the academic year such as workshops, conferences, exhibitions and company visits. Although our activities are aimed mainly at students, SV Industry major events connect academia and the industry in a broader way. We believe students, laboratories, alumni and companies have an important collaboration potential and we promote such synergies by bringing these actors together. Also active in biosciences networks and in communication with our school, we work closely with our partners to offer high quality events. As life sciences are a multidisciplinary domain, we also enjoy collaborating with other EPFL Schools and organizations. SV Industry also represents a great experience for its committee members, an organization where one can make the difference while gaining useful skills, meeting interesting people and enjoying team spirit!
