Asymmetric Investment Opportunities Silicon Valley Institutional Investor Association (SVIIA) was created in 2005 on Sand Hill Road by a collective of ex Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Maverick & Goldman Sachs institutional traders. Our goal is to educate other investors on public and private asymmetric investment opportunities. Our meetings focus on five investment areas. -Blockchain projects with strong teams recommended by Crypto Hedge Fund managers -Research on publicly traded companies that are monopolistic, durable and will dominate for decades -Backtested option and volatility trades on US listed publicly traded companies -Risk management when dealing with venture, PE, stocks, options & cryptocurrencies -Startups with traction and a lead investor looking to raise capital for their series A or later
