Southern Virginia Regional Alliance

Situated along the border of Virginia and North Carolina, the Southern Virginia Regional Alliance's mission is to accelerate job growth and increase the tax base for the counties of Halifax, Patrick and Pittsylvania, the city of Danville and the towns of Stuart, Chatham, Hurt, Gretna, Halifax, South Boston, Scottsburg, and Virgilina.. A region built on manufacturing, we have access to over 60% of the US population and over two-thirds of the US industrial base within a day's drive. Our region has 19 shovel ready sites ranging in size from 8 to 36 pad acres and a multitude of existing buildings including a 105,000 sq.ft. shell building with 30' clear ceilings. Southern Virginia is also home to a variety of workforce training facilities dedicated to helping our new and existing industries train the employees needed in order to be successful.
