Swaadhist is a humble little restaurant nestled in the heart of little India in Singapore. The name Swaadhisht is derived from Sanskrit word meaning, “delicious as it aims to serve authentic and delicious Indian cuisine with a promise not to use colouring and additives in its food.
Founded by Late Smt Bindu Anil in 2005 and driven by restaurant entrepreneur Anil Kumar, the restaurant has been engaged in recreating the charm of the traditional Kerala and Malyali cuisine in Singapore, while all the recipes hails from their grandmother’s kitchen in Thallessary Kerala. Serving the authentic Kerala food on a plantain leaf, Swaadhisht hassoon become popular as a culinary heaven for lovers of Kerala cuisine in Singapore.
The dishes vary from simple Kanji rice gruel to extravagant feasts or Sadya and mot more to enjoy a great meal. As coconut is the staple ingredient of Malyalicuisine, Coconut Kernel, coconut cream and coconut milk are widely used in most of the dishes. The Menu is divided in the five categories including soups, starters & salads, Main Course, Mutton & Fish, Milk shakes, Fresh Juice & Desserts and Light Items and Swaadhisht special.
The focus of the chefs is on making the food authentic using traditional recipes and it is teamwork, along with an amazing and professional staff that has succeeded in bringing the simplicity and real taste of Kerala cuisine to Singapore.
All the food is reasonably priced to give true value for money to the customers. Catering services for special occasions and events is also available at reasonable prices.
