Student’s Welfare Association of Chattogram (SWAC) | Jahangirnagar University The Student’s Welfare Association of Chattogram (SWAC) is a student-led organization at Jahangirnagar University dedicated to the welfare, support, and empowerment of students, especially those from Chattogram. Our mission is to create a positive impact on campus and within the community through social initiatives, cultural promotion, and educational support. What We Do: Student Support: We assist incoming admission test examinees with finding their seats, accommodations, and transportation, ensuring they feel welcome and supported. Community Outreach: SWAC organizes events like distributing goods to the underprivileged during Ramadan and providing scholarships to academically outstanding students, reinforcing our commitment to social welfare. Cultural Promotion: With Chattogram’s vibrant culture close to our hearts, we celebrate and promote its heritage through various programs and events. Sports Development: To build team spirit and sportsmanship, we host cricket and football matches, encouraging our members to develop their athletic skills. Guidance and Mentorship: We maintain a strong network with educators, leaders, and administrative officials from Chattogram who guide us in leading the organization effectively.
