Swimming With a Mission (S.W.A.M.) Canada (formerly Making Waves and SwimAbility) improves the lives of children with developmental disabilities through barrier-free water safety and swimming instruction, taught by certified volunteers. We are a federally incorporated not-for profit organization, founded in 2009, with 15 chapters across Canada bringing together 600 student volunteers.
