It is no secret that as more Saudis turn to online shopping, Saudi Arabia is experiencing unprecedented growth in e-commerce businesses. E-commerce in Saudi Arabia has demonstrated remarkably rapid development in recent years to become one of the fastest-growing markets in the Middle East. Such development has been driven by the increased number of online shoppers and the unprecedented growth of digital infrastructure under the leadership of His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, whose work has contributed to improving Internet speeds and increasing electronic security. Based on the goals of “Saudi Vision 2030” led by HRH the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, a policy that seeks to achieve comprehensive digital transformation in many sectors in Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom has paid close attention to e-commerce as a pillar of economic growth. Rouad Al-Najah Electronic Marketing Company seeks to develop and govern the electronic commerce sector among community members (i.e., C2C) in order to provide a secure digital platform on which community members can buy and sell electronic items with confidence under the supervision and control of the company.
