Swapna Foundation

Swapna Foundation is a youth-led grassroots organisation working at the intersection of education, environment, public health, and community empowerment. We believe in channelling youth energy into productive, real-world action that drives sustainable change across underserved areas. Our major initiatives include: 🔹 Street Kaksha – Focused on the holistic development of children in slums through school enrolments, academic learning, sports, dance, music, and co-curricular exposure. 🔹 Project Umang – Weekly food distribution and essentials support including slippers, hygiene kits, and undergarments for people living in slums and on the streets. 🔹 Project Margdarshan – Awareness campaigns on menstrual health, Sessions and workshops to spread awareness on Prevention of Sexual Harassment, Drug abuse, cyber safety, and mental well-being, especially among rural youth and school students. 🔹 Bhumitra Initiative – Plantation drives, clean-ups, sustainability workshops, and upcycling efforts to promote eco-consciousness and environmental responsibility. 🔹 Water Brigade – A community-led initiative to spread awareness on groundwater conservation, rainwater harvesting, and water sustainability. 🔹 Paw Rangers – Animal welfare drives providing reflective collars, food bowls, shelters, and regular feeding for community animals. 🔹 Sports & Event Management – Volunteers gain hands-on experience in organising leagues, sports tournaments, awareness events, and public campaigns across regions. Swapna has been proudly represented before Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on National Youth Day, and recognised by CM Shri Yogi Adityanath, Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, and bodies like UNICEF, UNDP, Ministry of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Transport. From the streets to policy tables, Swapna continues to grow as a movement where volunteers don’t just participate—they lead, execute, and create impact that lasts.
