Swasthya Swaraj is a NGO working to improve community health practices in Thuamul Rampur Block of Kalahandi (Odisha). With 2 dedicated clinics in Kaniguma and Kerpai, a team of Swasthya Saathis and Field Animators work day in and day out to deliver basic healthcare services and also create awareness in 76 programme villages across Kaniguma and Kerpai Gram Panchayats. Swasthya Swaraj works in is training tribal girls to be community nurses under the affiliation of Centurion University. Apart from these, Swasthya Swaraj also organizes regular Antenatal Care U-5 camps in its programme villages, community-based therapeutic management of Severe Acute Malnutrition, Tuberculosis Control Program and Malaria Control Program.
