The Swarthmore College Computer Society (SCCS) is a student-run group offering computing services, tools, toys, and information to the Swarthmore College community. We maintain a variety of online services including club mailing lists, classifieds, and a student directory, and we run a computer lab and video game lounge. Our staff members get experience with full-stack software development, from installing server hardware, to managing databases, to designing web interfaces.
Founded in 1991 to support the activities of students stringing network cable between their dorms (two years before the creation of the official college network), SCCS is a chartered student organization and receives funding from Swarthmore's Student Activities Fund.
