SwayMarkets was a wireless telecom business dedicated to bringing transparency to network performance and increasing the value of products delivered through mobile platforms. Located in Cambridge, MA, the company was founded in February 2011 and sold its core technologies in mid-2013. The company created high density insight into perceived wireless network performance within and across native mobile applications. This was done through a software development kit (SDK) and API allowing developers to create truly bandwidth-responsive designs leveraging real-time and predictive assessments of network quality. The data sourced from this SDK powered an analytics platform providing crowdsourced service quality monitoring (SQM), competitive benchmarking, and customer experience intelligence with unprecedented scope & precision and at a fraction of the cost of existing solutions.
