SwedeAmp är ett unikt nationellt kvalitetsregister som samlar data och följer vårdkedjan från amputation till protesförsörjning och rehabilitering. Arbetet med registret startades av Bengt Söderberg 2008 och finansierades av Skandinaviska Ortopedtekniska Laboratoriet fram till att det blev godkänt av SKL 2011. I dagsläget finns data på nästan 6000 patienter och ca 7500 amputationer. SwedeAmp är världens hittills enda register som följer patienten genom vårdkedjan i samband med en benamputation. Registret har ett tydligt multidisciplinärt fokus och ger möjlighet till förbättringsarbete både inom och mellan olika vårdteam.

The purpose of SwedeAmp is to generate data for the objective evaluation of factors leading to amputation, to register amputation incidence and complications, amputation position, prosthetic fitting and rehabilitation, and to evaluate the patient’s situation before and after amputation.
