The Swedish Drug Delivery Centre (SweDeliver) is a national competence center funded by VINNOVA bringing together excellent pharmaceutical academic and industrial research and education. The vision of SweDeliver is to consolidate prosperous world-class, needs-driven drug delivery science and to boost pharmaceutical innovation in Sweden. Our mission is to accelerate advanced drug delivery research and innovations for the ultimate benefit of patients by an integrative, cross-discipline patient-centered approach. The center is composed of a unique mix of big pharmaceutical companies, technology and service providers in the Nordic region alongside the academic partner hub at Uppsala University. SweDeliver innovates in the areas of parenteral, oral and pulmonary drug delivery with cross-theme focal areas in biologics and new modalities, high resolution imaging and analytics as well as computational modelling and simulation. A strong focus is also the training and career development of the next generation of drug delivery scientists.
