The Sweety story began in 1978, when we opened a mom-and-pop ice cream parlor in Monterey Park, California. One of our family’s favorite treats was mochi ice cream and we couldn’t find traditional Asian-flavored ice creams in our neighborhood, so we decided to make them ourselves...and the rest is sweet, cool, creamy history.
