Our origins are in highway maintenance as a new joint venture company, formed in 1995 by Colas Ltd and Eurovia UK Ltd specifically to win the Devon County Council highways contract. We were successful in winning this substantial contract and then retained it for in excess of 20 years, providing the tremendous stability and strength for us to develop a business which is now diverse and sustainable. We’ve developed a number of inter-related business streams, each embracing our very special style, which have been built on the skills of our people. On 1st February 2018 Eurovia UK Ltd assumed full ownership of South West Highways Ltd (SWH Ltd). This change strengthens our resilience and capability in a changing market within the South West. We are a multi-disciplinary contractor, we provide a full range of services, from civil engineering to highway maintenance and construction services. We offer services to both public sector and private sector clients throughout the south west.
