For more than 20 years - since the opening of Jean Nouvel's Culture and Congress Centre Lucerne - internationally renowned performers have been guesting in the highly acclaimed and acoustically excellent KKL concert hall as part of the "Lucerne Chamber Circle" and inspire audiences and the press alike. Swiss classics GmbH has been successfully organising top-class concerts in Lucerne since 1999 and, in addition to large choral and orchestral works around the holidays, also presents thrilling chamber music evenings as well as intimate recitals with outstanding artists from all over the world. Many of them specialise in historical performance practice, but crossover and interdisciplinary productions also find their place in the varied program of the "Lucerne Chamber Circle", which has been supplemented by the "Lucerne Piano Circle" and the "Lucerne Easter Circle" since the 2021/22 season. In the spring of 1999, four musicians founded "swiss classics GmbH". The musical background on the one hand and the professional development on the other hand (in the areas of music management and law) formed the basis for the realisation of the own concert series "Lucerne Chamber Circle". Thanks to a lot of enthusiasm and commitment, the concerts have been received with great success by the music world and the press since then.
