The Swiss Institute of Longevity (SIL) was founded on May 9, 2021, to support early-stage start-up activities in the field of #longevity.
The non-profit organisation aims to support early stage start-up activities based on longevity research projects, especially in Europe. The core element is a network of scientists and experienced entrepreneurs who evaluate potential projects. After a positive evaluation, they support the start-ups, on a case-by-case basis, financially and operationally.
The institute will be located in Central Switzerland in the canton of Nidwalden, close to the well-known Buergenstock Resort. In the first phase, the institute will be organised virtually as far as possible.
Interested people are invited to join the network and contribute to the Institute with their time, skills or contacts. People willing to support specific start-up projects are especially welcome.
