SSL was established in 2004 as a manufacturers’ representative specializing in power distribution products with particular focus on design, engineering, specification, and application. Our current partners include (but are not limited to) the following: Dis-Tran Packaged Substations, ARM Enertech Associates, Virginia Transformer Corporation, Benshaw, Park Metal Products, PACS Switchgear, ESS Metron, Jinpan International, ROMAC, and Power Survey.
It has always been our focus to represent quality, technical electrical distribution equipment manufacturers that complement each other and allow us to package our partners to the market portraying each manufacturers’ individual strengths as a total package offering. In 2016, SSL split from Switchgear Solutions Ltd. NY&NJ and formed a DBA as Substations Solutions Ltd. (focused on >3MVA & >38KV) to operate in parallel with Switchgear Solutions Ltd. (focused on the industrial market segment to provide value solutions in power control, harmonics, power quality, power factor, and power/control system retrofit/upgrades). SSL has moved away from public bid & spec contracts to providing solutions to direct customers that appreciate value and relationship. SSL was built on the idea of rolling our sleeves up and getting involved with our customers to make sure that the project is done quickly, cost effectively, and with attention to detail and quality that set us apart from our competitors. Our success is directly tied to our performance and the satisfaction of our customers.
