Sword Construction UK Limited is an established civil engineering contractor operating across a range of sectors including highways, rail, water treatment, water retaining structures and power generation plants fuelled by both traditional fossil fuels and renewable energy sources. The Company lead by its Managing Director Ian Sword, with almost 50 years’ experience in the Construction Industry, has built trust and lasting relationships through the delivery of safe, innovative, and responsible solutions for infrastructure. The Company adopts a proactive attitude towards the completion of the clients’ works whilst maintaining a high standard of safety and quality. This is primarily due to our core of highly skilled, experienced, motivated and generally long-serving staff, supervisors and operatives, who continually put the requirements of our clients first. Our workforce all hold valid CSCS and or CPCS cards and in the case of young persons, new to the Industry, are working towards achieving NVQs and skill cards. The Company's Site Managers are all SMSTS certified and Site Supervisors SSSTS certified and hold NVQ Level 3 Occupations Work Supervision CSCS cards, as a minimum. This has resulted in lasting relationships and repeat business with many of the country’s major contracting and client organisations. We also provide CSCS and CPCS qualified and experienced labour.
